What types of lace do your wigs come with?

Our colored wigs come with transparent lace, while our natural black and 613 wigs are made with HD lace.

 Are your wigs pre-plucked?

Yes, all our wigs feature small, pre-plucked knots.

How do I care for my wig?

Proper care extends the life of your wig. We recommend gently washing with sulfate-free shampoo, conditioning regularly, and storing your wig on a stand to maintain its shape.

What is the difference between a closure and frontal wig?

   A 5x5 closure means it is 5 inches across and 5 inches back of parting space. A frontal can come in 13x6 or 13x4, meaning it's 13 inches across the hairline and either 4 to 6 inches back of parting space.

What is the density of the wigs sold at The Wig Vault?

All wigs at The Wig Vault are 200% density. This means each wig is designed to be full and voluminous, giving you a natural and rich look.

Why is wig density important?

Wig density refers to the thickness and fullness of the hair on the wig. A higher density, like 200%, offers a fuller and more natural appearance, mimicking the look of healthy, thick hair

How do I secure my wig for all-day wear?

Our wigs come with an Elastic band, adjustable straps and combs for a secure fit. You can also use adhesive for added security.

How long does our hair last? 

With proper care it can last 2+ years 

 Do you offer custom color wigs?

 Yes, we offer custom color wigs. Contact us to discuss your desired color, and we’ll create a wig that meets your needs.

 What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards and offline payments such as cash app and Zelle .

 How does the payment and ordering process work?

**Website Payments:** Orders paid through the website take 2-3 business days to process before we proceed with placing your order. 

- **Offline Payments:** Orders paid offline (cash app and Zelle)  are processed the same day. 

 How long does it take to receive my wig?

 All wigs take 3-4 business days to be made, followed by 2-4 business days for shipping.

How long does it take for my order to be ready for local pickup?

Local pickup orders are ready after the wig finishes processing, which typically takes 3-4 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. You will receive a notification once your order is ready.

What do I need to bring when I pick up my order?

Please bring a copy of your order confirmation (can be found in your email) and a valid photo ID(must be the same name on order) This helps us ensure that your order is released to the correct person.

Can I pick up my order without my confirmation email or photo ID?*

No, we cannot release your order without both the confirmation email and a valid photo ID. If you forget either of these, please contact us to discuss possible alternatives. This policy helps protect against fraud and ensures the security of your order

Where can I pick up my order?

The pickup location and instructions will be provided in your notification email or text once your order is ready. Please follow the instructions carefully.

How long do I have to pick up my order?

Once your order is ready for pickup, you have 3 days to collect it. If you need more time, please contact us to arrange an alternative pickup window.

What happens if I don’t pick up my order within 3 days?

If you do not pick up your order within 3 days and have not contacted us to arrange an alternative pickup time, The Wig Vault reserves the right to cancel your order. Please note that no refunds or returns will be provided, as all sales are final.

How does local delivery work?

Local delivery is available after your order is finished processing. A scheduling link will be sent via SMS

What is your policy regarding local delivery and pickup?

To ensure a smooth delivery and pickup experience, we offer a 10-minute grace period. Please be available at the scheduled time; if you are running late, please contact us. After this grace period, we will need to reschedule the delivery or pickup.
